Veer Singh

 

Veer represents an uncommon breed of Indian men; disarmingly sensitive, conscientious and deeply committed to walking his own path.

 

One our earliest supporters, he declares the gender equality debate as archaic, as most of the senior positions in his own company are held by women. How could we not have him come speak to us on re- defining masculinity.

 

Born and raised in New Delhi, educated at St. Columbas and at Harrow in England and then a gap-year in Spain, to master Spanish, Veer discovered a love for languages, flamenco, music and art.Finishing his formal education with the study of physics at Imperial College in London; Veer spent much of his time being politically active, learning about organic agriculture and ecology.

 

With a desire to live a more sustainable and conscious life, he eventually decided to work towards becoming a self-sufficient organic farmer. This pursuit led him to spend his summers working on a farm in Spain.

 

Armed with new skills and full of passion, Veer realized that working in a large corporate business was not his purpose in life, instead he decided to join a nascent resort project that his family had embarked upon. Many months into heading the project, the dream to create a place of wellness was born, Veer set himself the goal of creating the most iconic wellness retreat in the world.

 

He sees Vana as a manifestation of his beliefs and journey in life, and hopes to deliver the vision of Vana, to be of service and enhance wellbeing.
